Doctor Who Double Reveiw 2!

OMG! It's time for another Doctor Who double review and I would just like to say a big thank you to all the people who have posted on my blog, cause since you have, I keep blogging on here!

Wow, okay, so big two-parter again, but no RiverSong this time, but another old enemy lurking in the shadows. It was great and quite sad at the end, the horrible Silurian shot ... but yeah, if you have missed it, here we go ...

Okay, it starts with a man and his son, and the man is reading to the boy. The boy is dyslexic, and so has headphones to listen to audio-books. The mother comes out of the house, and sets the man off to work with his dinner. He g
oes to his job, at a mining operation, and celebrates with Nasreen and Tony, on their drill digging 21km under the earth's crust. Later that night, the man is working and feels a jolt in the drill compound. He goes to check it out, and it is a hole in the ground with a weird black dust in it. He feels around in it, before it sucks him in.

The Doctor - Hey, has anyone noticed we ain't in Rio?

The Doctor lands the TARDIS, 2020, and Amy Pond steps out into a graveyard and church, expecting to find herself in Rio. She isn't, however, and is disappointed. "The ground feels strange" the Doctor remarks, jumping up and down. The three explore the graveyard, and the Doctor finds blue-grass, which is not explained why or what or how or anything. But then, on a hill, are two figures waving at them. The Doctor looks through a pair of binoculars, and is surprised, it is Amy and Rory from the future, reliving past memories. They wave at them, before sighting a drill, not far off, the Doctor and Amy go since the Doctor "loves a drill thingy", but Rory stays behind to put Amy's engagement ring in the TARDIS.

Back at the drill, Nasreen is inspecting the patch in the earth with Tony, and they are questioning how it got there, worried and spooked. In the TARDIS, Rory is staring at the ring, I think thinking about the life he would have with Amy on the hill. At the drill compound, the Doctor and Amy are breaking and entering (wait, no, "Sonicking and entering" according to the Doctor), due to his new-found interest in it.

The Doctor - See? You just point it and, wham! Instant unlocking process!

Rory exits the TARDIS, and is surprised by a woman, Ambrose, and her son Elliot, who had called Policeman. Ambrose leads Rory, thinking he is a Policeman to the thing she wanted. Ambrose is worried about people being dug up out of their graves, but on the surface, the graves look fine. When you look inside, though, their is nothing to be found.

The Doctor and Amy are walking through the drill, with the Doctor questioning Amy about how the ground feels to her now. They find Nasreen and Tony, who is surprised to find them, and is shocked to find what Amy is wearing. "I dressed for Rio" she says. The Doctor makes them up a disguise, and the Doctor examines the floor. He soon wants them to get out as the ground starts to make steam and shift. More holes form in the ground, and Tony starts to get sucked in. Nasreen saves him, but Amy is pulled in to the ground.

Amy - But Doctor! My skirt is too pretty for dirt! Noooooooooo!
Meanwhile, Rory is inspecting the grave, when Elliot starts to talk to him. "The graves around you eat people" he says, before walking off and getting him tea. At the drill, the Doctor, Nasreen, and Tony are talking about how the ground "wanted" Amy. They soon realise that the ground wants to stop them drilling, it isn't active when the drill is off, but it is active when its on. The Doctor scans the floor, "bio-programming" he says. The ground bio-programmed to attack when they started the drill. Nasreen had stopped the drill, but when the Doctor puts his ear to the ground, and can still hear drilling. They realise the blue-grass was a sign, don't dig here. And then the realise that three heat signals are moving up, they are going to be out of the ground in 12 minutes. They grab the equipment, and go to get Ambrose and Elliot, the only people in the area.
Outside, Nasreen and Tony are shocked to see they are surrounded by a red force field, when the Doctor flings a rock at it, it rebounds. He scans it, and realises they are trapped. Rory, Ambrose, and Elliot meet up with them, and the group escape to the local church. The Doctor explains to Rory what happens to Amy, and he promises to get her back. Rory is obviously sad, but helps the Doctor. Ambrose is getting worried in the church, she wants to know stuff, and is worried about her husband. Elliot is worried for his dad too, but the mother and son cooperate, getting recording devices.

The Doctor - Hey! We're like Scooby Doo! I'm Shaggy, cause I'm cool. Tony, your Fred, cause your old and wise. (Tony - Hey!) Nasreen, your Velma, cause your smart too. Ambrose, your Daphne cause your so kinky. Elliot, your our Scooby Doo, cause your the only one left. And Rory, oh wait, Rory, okay, um, just stay out of this one!

The Doctor wants the whole area covered with censors, and he also wants Elliot to mark out where they are. "I can't read the words, I'm dyslexic" the boys says. "Well, that's alright, I can't make a decent meringue" the Doctor replies. If any of the aliens move, they would know. Ambrose wants to fight, with axes and tazers. The Doctor convinces her to not use the weapons, but she doesn't put them away. Elliot asks the Doctor is he misses his home, and the Doctor replies "so much" he then lets Elliot go looking for his headphones. The creature finally comes, and its arrival makes thing dark.
Inside, Tony and Nasreen kiss. "Tony ... (shocked)" Nasreen says, and Tony replies "Like you didn't know." Everyone gets inside, and waits for the creature, but it disrupts all the devices, rendering them useless. The ground starts shaking, and the Doctor listens to the surface, while the creature comes through the final layer of earth. At this point, Ambrose realises Elliot isn't with them. The Doctor tells how he let him look for headphones, and Ambrose is furious.

Elliot - But I'm to cute to die!

Outside, Elliot is running back to the church, but at the door, he is confronted by the creature. It then captures him, with the others only standing on the other side. Ambrose goes running after him, and finds his headphones, so she cries. She is then attacked by the creature, but saved by Tony, her dad. The creature strikes Tony with it's tongue on his neck.
By the van, the Doctor is using his cool sunglasses that are infared, to identify the "cold-blood" race. He then captures one of them by spraying it with fire extinguisher foam, and stuffing it in the van with Rory's help. "Saving the world with Meals on Wheels!" he exclaims, high-fiving Rory.
Far underground, Amy Pond was being held in a very small space, and is worried, I would be, I'm claustrophobic! After some harsh words to her capturers, she is put to sleep by gas.

In the basement of the church, the Doctor has a chat with their prisoner. The prisoner is wearing a mask, with body armor and green skin. The Doctor removes it's mask, revealing a stunning green Silurian woman. "You are beautiful" the Doctor remarks, before complimenting all the Silurians had done to him the past day. He grabs a chair, he discusses Amy, and why the Silurians want to come back to earth. The Silurians name is Alaya, and she had been hibernating for about 300,000,000 years, until humans penetrated their oxygen bubble with their drill. A warrior class was sent to earth to wipe out the "vermin" as Alaya puts it. The Silurians want their land again, and they would fight for it. The Doctor would not let the Silurians start a war.

The Doctor - Wow, green, that's soooooooooo out of the ordinary ...

The Doctor wants to go down and negotiate with the Silurians, which the others of the group are not allowing. They think the Silurians are aliens, but they are obviously not, they are homo-reptilian, they ex-inhibitors of the Earth. Tony wants to dissect Alaya, but the Doctor says no. He wants the four of them to be the best of humanity, the best. Nasreen claps, but is stared down by the rest of them.

At the TARDIS, Nasreen wants to come with the Doctor, and after some hard discussing, the Doctor lets her. "No way" she says as she enters. "It's fantastic" she says "It's great!" Soon a jolt makes the Doctor realise the Silurians wants them to come.

Nasreen - Oooooooooooo, please can I come!
The Doctor - Ah, no, it's way to cramped in this old thing ...

The three on the surface confront Alaya, saying they want their family, and they will keep her safe. "No" Alaya says "one of you will kill me. I know which one will do it." Later, Tony looks at the disease spreading across his neck, from the strike Alaya gave him, and is extremley worried.
The Doctor and Nasreen come out of the TARDIS, to be a lot far down in the earth's crust. Nasreen is confused, "Why aren't we burning alive?" she asks. They soon follow one of the tunnels.
Amy wakes up, on a sort of up-righted table thing. She is held in place, and finds herself next to Mo, Ambrose's husband. "Don't struggle" he says "it's called de-contamination." Amy soon works out she is going to be dissected by the Silurians. A Silurian starts to walk towards her, with a knife at the ready. Amy starts to struggle.
The Doctor is expecting about a dozen Silurians, but what he finds out over a balcony surprises him, a entire city, living beneath the earth.

The Doctor - Ooh, ah, okay then, a little bit more than a dozen

So, continuing on from this episode, is the stunning "Cold Blood":

The Doctor and Nasreen are exploring the city, and the Doctor is saying where they should go, when Nasreen worries. "Is this the best approach?" she asks. The Doctor replies "Yeah, front door approach, always the way". He is proved wrong when suddenly an alarm goes off and they are surrounded by Silurians. One steps infront and doses them with some sleeping gas.
Malohkeh - See, this is my magic wand, and with it I cut you open.
Meanwhile, Amy is about to be dissected. The green Silurian finishes the de-contamination, and gets ready to dissect her. He uses a device to lock her to the chair, but is stopped as suddenly an alarm goes off, and runs off. Amy manages to get out of her chair, thanks to a pick-pocketed device, and saves Mo and herself. Together they explore the city, and come across a door, and inside the room, is Elliot. He is wired up and can't hear Mo as he pleads for his son. Amy convinces Mo to calm down, and then they both agree to find guns and force the Silurians to get Elliot out.
Up on Earth, Ambrose is inspecting the grave, obviously angry and sad. "You lied" she says as Rory approaches "you told us you were the police". She does the whole "what did we ever do" speech and gets a bit emotional. Rory promises to get her son and husband back, as long as they keep Alaya safe.

In the Silurian city, the Doctor is being scanned. While over in the other side of the room, Malohkeh (the Sikurian doctor) and Rustac (the Silurian army commander, and also Alaya's sister) exchangen heated words over the fate of the Doctor and Nasreen. Rustac is also worried about her sister. Malohkeh starts the de-contamination process, and the Doctor starts to shake vigorously, as the process is removing half the things keeping him alive. Malohkeh sees this, and stops, much to Rustac's disliking.

Back up in the village, Alaya is curious why Tony isn't dead. They talk a bit, before he goes against his family by offering her a chance to escape for the cure to her venom. She declines, saying it would be much funner to watch him die. "The first ape death of the coming war" she says.
Downstairs, the Doctor and Nasreen are feeling much better until Rustac orders her guards to take them to the exucution and courtroom. She will send the "vermin" on the surface a clear message, his and Nasreen's exucution.
Amy - Wow, Mo, you think we can take them all on on our own?
Mo - YEAH!
Amy and Mo - (Fist-punching each other) POWER RANGERS!
In other places, Mo and Amy are still exploring when they come across two hibernating Silurians. They go inside the tubes, and find their own escape route once the've found the Doctor. They grab the weapons, and go to face the Silurians. Once out of the corridor they are confronted by a sight, thousands upon thousands of Silurians hibernating. "We have to find the Doctor" Amy says, backing away, gun at the ready.

At the church, Tony is looking for a cure to the venom. Ambrose suddenly works it out, and is worried once Tony shows her the venom mark (which has crossed his chest now, and is a disgusting green colour). Ambrose stays calm, and helps her dad.
In the city, while the Doctor and Nasreen are being taken to their exucuction, the Doctor explains about the Silurians. Only a few were awake, and they had escaped down here because they had thought an apocolypse was about to happpen, when really it was the moon coming in line with the earth. The Silurians confront him about his other encounters with them, and he tells of how the humans attacked another tribe of Silurians. "Vermin race" Rustac says in disgust.

In the basement of the church, Ambrose is confronting Alaya. She wants the cure for her dad, and she wants her son and husband. When Alaya doesn't say, she produces a taser from her pocket, and threatens to use it. Alaya now knows who will kill her and why, so doesn't give in. She taunts Ambrose about her family until Ambrose uses the taser on her and kills her. Rory and Tony hear the screams and come to help, they are quite shocked with Ambrose, who breaks down before their eyes.
Mo - Hey look everybody! we're on the computer!
Everyone else - Yeah!
In the Silurian courtroom, the Doctor and Nasreen are getting ready for their deaths. Suddenly, Amy and Mo come barging in from both exits of the room, in all their glory. It's cut short, as Rustac grabs the gun off Amy and gets her guards on Mo. Now the're all gonna be exucuted! Malohkeh stands up to Rustac, but she bulllies him into leaving, back to his laboratory. While they are chained to pole, the Doctor explains the Silurians to Amy.
Nasreen - Oi! Easy on my hands! Not too tight!
In the village, they are all worried, the're only bargaining chip
gone. Soon, on a broken computer screen, Rustac comes online. Ambroe covers Alaya, and Rory comes forth to speak for them. They have some discussion, and the three upstairs get worried once they see the others ready for exuction. Ambrose rebels, and wants her family back. After a long silence, Rustac replies in a horrible voice, "No". "Exucute the girl" Rustac says, and then the screen goes blank.

The guards have their guns ready, Rustac calls it, and "STOP!" a voice shouts from the end of the room. Eldane, the kind of leader of the Silurians stops the exucuction, being lead to the room by Malolkeh. Rustac is suprised, but follows Eldane. Malohkeh doesn't like it this way, and wants the exucution stopped. Eldane dismisses Rustac, who leaves the room with this sentence, "You will need me, then we'll see".

The screen in the church comes back on, and Rory is relieved to find Amy unharmed. The Doctor wants them to come down with Alaya, and they are all worried what might happen when they all find out, since the Doctor is being real happy. "Gotta dash, hurry up!" the Doctor says, and the screen goes blank.

In the courtroom, the Doctor sets up the meeting of sharing the planet between Nasreen, Amy, and Eldane. He gives Nasreen and Amy the title of representatives of earth, and leaves them to discuss. "Now, Mo, let's go get your son" he says, before leaving.

In the mining complex, the three humans (and the dead Alaya), are getting ready to go on the "geo-thermal gravity bubbles" and ride down. Ambrose is worried, through, since they brought four discs, one more for Alaya. She asks her dad to do something we don't know about yet, and he is instantly rebellious. "No, no, no!" he shouts, "I won't do it!" Ambrose convinces him to do it, not for her, but for Elliot.

In the Silurian city, Malohkeh shows how much he adores humans beofre setting Elliot free, and after tearful reunion with the Doctor and his dad those three leave. However, Malohkeh stays behind, to check the pod is still operational.

In the courtroom, there is heated discussions over how the earth would be shared, and a voice over by Eldane, quite a nice touch, but yeah, and Amy starts agreeing and saying "Why don't they have all the deserts?" and things like that. Nasreen is still rebellious, but Eldane gives the help of resources, and scientific advances. Nasreen starts to agree, but still needs more convincing. At that, the Doctor walks in, clapping. Now, there is shaking, and that sounds Rory, Ambrose, Tony, and Alaya's arrival. In another tunnel, Malohkeh find something disturbing. Rustac is waking her troops, saying "We need to protect out world against the apes" with that, and with about twenty guards behind her, she kills Malohkeh.
Once Rory and the rest arrive, the Doctor, Amy, Nasreen, and Eldane are really shocked to find Alaya dead on the floor infront of them. Once it is revealed that Ambrose did it, Elliot backs away, terrified of his mother. The Doctor is furious at the woman, calling her "less then the best human she could be" or something or rather. Ambrose takes this, and doesn't stanhd down. Rustac and her troops arrive, Rustac wanting her sister. She cries for Alaya, and then is angry, wanting to kill Ambrose, until the mother reveals her plan. The drill is going to start burrowing in 15 minutes. "Exucute her!" Rustac screams, but the Doctor saves Ambrose, and manages to get them all to saftety by exploding the Silurian guns with his Sonic (have you noticed he doesn't actually use it much this series?). They run down the tunnel, laser beams following them.
The Doctor - Oh Yeah! You afraid of the Sonic? Oh Yeah!
They all get themselves in Malohkeh's lab, and Tony reveals his venom. He gets Eldane to run the de-contamination process on Tony, it being the only way to save him. Silurians are at the door, and all the Doctor can do is blow up the drill. "Squeaky bum time!" the Doctor says. Eldane will run a "toxic fumigation" to get all awake Silurians into Hibernation again. "The earth isn't ready for us yet" Eldane says. The planet is to be shared in 3020, in 1000 years. "Aha, super squeaky bum time!" the Doctor says. Tony has to stay behind, so the de-contamintation can run it's full course. The fumigation starts, and the troops run to hibernation, and they all run for the TARDIS. Nasreen reveals that she is gonna stay aswell, go through hibernation with Tony, and will wake in 1000 years. "I can't leave my life's work when I've only just found it" Nasreen says. The fumigation completes, and everything gets working.

Amy - Rory! I know there's light in the wall but don't go into it!
Doctor - Don't go into the light, Rory!
At the TARDIS, the Doctor notices, again, all the time, the crack in the wall. It is in the Silurian city now, and Amy is super dupa worried. The Doctor takes a hankercheif, puts his hand in the crack, and pulls out an object, it is not revealed what it is yet, so we'll just have to find out! Rustac crawls out of the shadows, and tries to shoot the Doctor, instead, Rory jumps infront of him. Amy is in shock, can't beleiving what she is seeing. The Doctor tries to help, but can't. The light from the crack starts to latch on to Rory, so the Doctor pulls Amy away. She is in fits of tears, and inside the TARDIS, is starting to not remember Rory. The Doctor helps her focus, but she forgets him once she loses focus as the TARDIS shakes. They all get out of the TARDIS, and are just in time to see Nasreen's life work go up in flames.

But I wanna go to Rio NOW! (Sob, sob)

Ambrose and the Doctor share a really passionate discussion, ending with Ambrose setting out to make Elliot the "best of humanity" in the way she couldn't be. Back at the TARDIS, Amy waves at herself, since Rory isn't there. She then pauses, a sad moment, and when the Doctor asks, she says "I thought I saw somebody else there for a second". He makes an excuse to be left alone, needing to fix the lock. To this, Amy replies "You boys and your toys" to which makes me wonder, does she still remember Rory? But yeah, it is revealed that the object the Doctor got from the crack was indeed a piece of the TARDIS, a little chunk of it's sign.

The Doctor - Hey, does someone else own another police box?

OMG, WOWEE! I love how this two-parter had a great plot, like sharing the earth, and I love how it got on with the crack in the wall story. Even though Rory died, I bet he is gonna come back in the next four eps though, cause he can't just die! And I know Amy remembers him, cause she has to! I'm grateful the planet didn't get shared, cause that will be a great storyline for next series: The Doctor meets Nasreen and Tony, and some evil gets thrown into the mix, and the planet gets shared!

So, now for the ratings:

I give "The Hungry Earth" 4 smiles out of 5

:) :) :) :)/ :) :) :) :) :)

I give "Cold Blood (which is rather a terrific name) 4.5 out of 5

:) :) :) :) :/ :) :) :) :) :)

"Amy's Choice"

Hello fellow Doctor Who lovers!

Yes, Amy, we know you are pregnant. No need to clutch your stomach.
I know I am a little late with this review, but I'm here now, so yeah!

This ep is great, great, great! It has a lot of fantastic twists and turns, and a big plot, plus an interesting bad guy ...

Let's go!
Well, it starts with a countryside, a cottage, and a pregnant Amy Pond baking a yellow mixture inside.
Ooooh, cookies! I wonder which flavour?
Suddenly, she drops her bowl and spoon and clutches her bulging stomach, and screams one word: "RORY!" Meanwhile, Rory Williams is riding his bicycle back home, with a jacket on, and a ponytail, he hears his wife's screams. He takes a second or two, deciding what to do with his bike, before running into the house. Walking inside, he is suprised to find Amy sitting on a chair, eating her mixtures. "False alarm" she says. Rory comes and sits next to her, but then they hear a whirring sound, which reveals itself to be the TARDIS. The Doctor comes out, cracking the path, and meets up with the married couple. The three explore the "Upper Leadworth, actually, we've gone up-market" according to Rory. They sit down on a bench, and soon hear birds chirping and all fall asleep.

They all wake up, on the floor of the TARDIS, and all get up. They eventually work out that they all had the same "dream", of Leadworth, pregnant Amy, and Rory.
Doctor - Okay, not pregnant anymore?
They all talk about it for a while before hear the same birds chirping again, and they all fall asleep.

Waking back up at Leadworth, the Doctor, Amy, and Rory are totally spooked. The Doctor starts balbbering about "trandimentional, parallel universe", things like that. The scene ends with the Doctor telling Amy and Rory to "trust nothing, not anyone or anything" and to" hold on tight, this is going to be a tricky one ..."

They all wake up again, in the TARDIS, with the machine shaking and the Doctor not knowing what to do, saying he "Threw the manual in a supernova". They all are worried about which is real, all thinking that this place now was real. But the Doctor says "Yeah, but Amy, you thought it was all real when you were all ... elephanty!" "Hey" Amy says, pointing a spanner at him. "Pregnant" she says fiercly. "You could be giving birth right now!" the Doctor exclaims. The Doctor says look for anything that rings un-true. "Well" Rory says "We're in a spaceship, that'sb bigger on the inside then out" "With a bowtie wearing idiot" Amy puts in. "Valid point" the Doctor agrees, before the whole ship plunges into darkness. The birds chirp again, and they fall asleep.

Waking up in Leadworth, the Doctor starts giving theories to where they might be, pinching Rory's cheeks in the progress. The Doctor starts to find the local old-people's home a bit weird, thinking it wierd how "Everyone here lives to their ninety's" as Amy puts it. "There's something that doesn;t make sense" he says. Him and Rory start running off again, with Amy following, clutching her back and saying "For once, can we please not do the running thing?" In the old people's home, the Doctor and Amy inspect the elders, and one of the them puts the Doctor in a knitted jumper for their grandson. He looks at the Mrs Poggit, inspecting her saying she is very old. The birds chirp, and the fall asleep.

When they wake, the TARDIS is "bloody cold" as Rory fruitfully puts it. The Doctor tells them both to "not believe Mrs Poggit's nice old lady act if I was you". Everything is off in the TARDIS, the Doctor wondering who. A man appears, saying"That took a while". The Doctor is shocked, "How did you get into my TARDIS?" he asks the man, who is also wearing a bow-tie. He reveals himself to be the dream-lord, someone that isn't real there. It is also revealed that he is the one putting them in this state. He is somehow saying Amy has to choose between "her men". In both worlds, they are going to face dangers, inly one of the dangers is real. He makes the birds tweet, leaving them with the sentence, "Time to sleep, oh, or are you waking up?"
They wake up, now with the home empty. The Dreamlord walks in, and starts talking, with an x-ray of the Doctor's brain.
Dreamlord - Yes, Doctor, I compete in the olympics for holding my chin and reading at the same time, don't look so suprised.
Saying "he had aways been able to see through the Doctor", the Dreamlord starts asking the stuff. If you die in the dream, you wake up in reality. If you die in reality, you die forever. Once the Dreamlord disappears, the Doctorn realises that all the old people have gone. Ourside, Amy has contraction, with the Doctor holding his hands where the baby is supposed to come out. They hang out in the park for a while, before spotting Mrs Poggit following some children up a ramp. Birds chirp, sleeping time!

In the TARDIS, they are now really cold, and the Doctor is annoyed. He goes and looks for tools. Meanwhile, Rory is telling Amy how he wolud prefer the Leadworth dream to the TARDIS one, because it was everything he wanted. Amy doesn't agree, "Why would we give this all up?" she says. After working the Doctor's "device", an old-fashioned egg-beater, they get a view of outside and are confronted by a star burning cold. Rory starts to confront the Doctor, wanting the world he always dreamed of. The Dreamlord appears, and puts them all to sleep again.

Back in Leadworth, the Doctor, Amy and Rory walk up the ramp to find the children disentigrated to mounds of dust by Mrs Poggit. The Dreamlord comes back, and starts messing with their minds again. The Doctor exclaims there is only one person who hates the Doctor in the universe as much as the Dreamlord, therefore he knows who the dreamlord is. They are confronted by the old people, revealed to be Eknodine, with creatures in their mouths that turn people to dust. As Amy and Rory go back to the cottage, the Doctor witnesses a Eknodine turn a postman to dust,
Mrs Poggit - Look what comes out of my mouth! Die postman!
after some brief talking, he runs away. At the cottage, Rory has to hit an old lady to protect "chubs" (Amy). Inside Amy lies on the stairs, worried for the Doctor. Rory comes in the room, with a table to bar the door. "Don't worry" he says "you know the Doctor, he's Mr Cool!" Back on the streets, the Doctor is being put to sleep, but manages to hide in a butcher. Just escaping the Eknodines, he lets the chirping take him.

It is now freezing in the TARDIS, and she realises that she is choosing over the Doctor, the TARDIS dream, or Rory, the Leadworth dream. The all put on the "biggest crime in fashion" (pocho's) and get ready for the cold star. The Doctor devises a plan to split up, and the Dreamlord appears, agreeing and sending the Doctor and Rory back to Leadworth.

Rory wakes up, and, with effort, he drags the still sleeping Amy up the stairs into the nursery. He then takes a moment, staring at the baby cot, wondering if it was real. Now, the Eknodine have the TARDIS, and he is worried. The Doctor manages to escpae the butchers, and hijacks a van to help the people about to die from the Eknodine.

Back in the TARDIS, Amy is alone with the Dreamlord. He tells Amy of the true Doctor, and how he left her with the Dreamlord. She believes the Doctor trusts her. She believes she is the only girl in the universe to what the Doctor tells everything.
Dreamlord - So, how's your life, girlfriend?
Amy - Oh, well, I have to choose between two dimensions and between a Timelord, or a guy with a ponytail, so, nothing new.
He asks her what the Doctor's name is. He asks her to choose, to choose between the Doctor and Rory. "Amy's men" the Dreamlord says "Amy's choice". And then, he disappears. Amy bends down, looking at her "boys".
In Leadworth, the Doctor has gotten all the remaining townspeople to safety and makes his way to Amy and Rory's cottage. The Dreamlord appears in the van briefly, and asks the Doctor to choose, time to choose. The Doctor arrives, and is horrified to find the Eknodines destroying the cottage. Upstairs, Amy wakes in Rory's arms. Rory takes a brave move, and cuts off his ponytail.
"I was starting to like it" Amy says. The Doctor then manages to get in through the window (like the eleventh hour) and they all meet up again. All of a sudden, the baby is coming, and Mrs Poggit is getting through the window. She breathes on Rory, who falls in the corner and starts to die. He turns to dust, his final words "look after our baby".
Okay, not going to joke about this one, sob, sob!
Amy, is shocked, she has just lost the man she loves. "No ... come back ..." she says, as if not believing it. "Save him" she asks the Doctor, but he can't. "Then what, is the point of you" she says. She feels Rory's ashes, before standing up, holding the van's keys.

She goes outside, and into the van, knowing this is the dream since Rory was not there. After a breif stare-off with the Dreamlord, the Doctor follows. "I love Rory and I never told him" Amy says "and now he's gone". With that, they crash the van into the house.
The TARDIS, stone cold, all the levers frozen with snow and ice on them. And three humanoid figures on the floor. The Doctor, face frozen and cold, but his eyes still open. Amy Pond, scared for her boyfriend, yet her eyes still open. And Rory Williams, not knowing what is going on, yet his eyes still open. Amy and Rory clutch their hands together. "So, you choose this, well done, you got it right" the Dreamlord says, suddenly appearing. He warms the TARDIS up, and disappears, since "being defeated". Amy hugs Rory, and he says "well, this is nice, I like this, can you tell me what I did so I can use it in emergency's and maybe birthday's". The Doctor then reveals he is going to blow up the TARDIS, because actually, the Dreamlord made them choose between two dreams. An explosion, and then the screen goes blank.

Doctor - Look! Sparkly things!
The TARDIS, back to normal, the Doctor leaning on the console, and Amy Pond and Rory Williams comign down the stairs. He explains how it happened, a speck of psychic pollen fell into the time rotor (the middle collum thingy), heated uo, and made a dream-sate for all of them. He then frees it, blowing it through the TARDIS door. He then explains that the Dreamlord, was his dark personality, his being, just, bad! Amy then explains to Rory why she crashed the van, and how he died, and how she knew it was a dream because he wasn't there.
We all know the Doctor is really jealous of Rory right now.
Shocked but relieved and happy, Rory starts to kiss Amy, before the triplet of trouble heads off into the stars yet again.

This was a great story line, a great plot, a great everything!

I give it 5 out of 5 smiles!
:) :) :) :) :) / :) :) :) :) :)
So, some favourite phrases from this barrel of laughs:

Doctor - Whoah! You've swallowed a planet!
Amy - I'm pregnant
Doctor - Your huge!
Amy - Yeah, I'm pregnant
Doctor - Look at you when world's collide!
Amy - Doctor, I'm pregnant
Doctor - Oh, look at you both 5 years later and you haven't changed a bit apart from age, and, size. (Stares at Amy's stomach for a long while) "Are you pregnant?
WITH:
Dreamlord - Ask me what happens when you die in reality
(Silence)
Rory - What happens?
Dreamlord - You die, stupid, thats why its called reality!
AND:
Amy - Oh, my boys. My poncho boys. If we're gonna die, lets die looking like a Peruvian folk band
ALSO
Amy - AHHHHH! Okay, it's not coming.
Doctor and Rory - What?
Amy - (To the Doctor) This is my life now, and it just turned you white as a sheet, so don't you call it dull again. Okay?
PLUS:
Doctor - (Looking at Amy and Rory snogging) "So, well then, where to now? Or should I go down to the swimming pool for a few laps?"
Here we are, the end of another reveiw, oh and we have another double reveiw coming up, and a few spoiler words: A drill, a lizard race that the Doctor knows of, a fateful gun shot, and a brave woman named Naseryne!'

"Vampires of Venice"

Hey-lo everybody!

What have you guys been doing this week?

Well, I know I am a little late on this one, since "Vampires of Venice" aired nearly two weeks ago now! Still, I hope you enjoy my review!

Now, this episode starts with a father (Guido) desperatley seeking a school for his daughter (Isabella) and so goes to Signora Rosanna Calvierri, and begs for a place in her school. Signora Calvierri asks her son to inspect Isabella, which he does with great care and the mother and son accept the girl. They then seperate Guido and Isabella and once the father is gone, show their sharp teeth to Isabella, who, of course, screams.
Doctor - Hello, Rory! Sorry to crash the party of anything, but your girlfriend just kissed me, thought you should know.
Back in London, the Doctor believes that Amy tried to come on to him because of seperation from Rory and the stress on time travel, so pops out of Rory's stripper cake on the night of his bachelor party. He then proceeds to tell everyone Amy kissed him, thinking it will be funny.

He takes the couple on a date to Venice, 1580, and they enjoy it but then, across a river, they see Guido try to talk to Isabella, who is surrounded by a group of hooded girls, but is rebuffed when Isabella doesn't remember him, and Rosanna's son Francesco pushes him away, showing his teeth in the process. Before Amy can say anything, the Doctor is gone. He goes and catches Guido, and the desperate man explains that he thinks there is something wrong with the school, exclaiming in worry that his own daughter didn't even remember him. The Doctor makes his way into the school, and is soon surrounded by a group of the girls, who he can't see in a mirror, and show him their sharp teeth. VAMPIRES! He manages to escape, but only just.

Doctor - Wait a minute, I'm getting a vibe here, Vampires, um, something to do with the moon, um, Twilight?, no, New Moon?, no, um, oh, um, oh I know! Eclipse!
Meanwhile, Amy and Rory have gotten over Amy's little seducing spree, and are having a good time until they hear a scream, they find a lady, drained of blood, and Francesco walking away. While Rory tries to help the woman, using his doctor skills, Amy chases Francesco, but nearly falls into the river, with Francesco nowhere to be found. She finds Rory and then the Doctor, and they have a excited jump around, "Vampires!" Amy says.
Amy - Okay, we should stop getting excited, Vampires could suck our blood out.
Doctor - Glass half empty much ...
"In Venice!" the Doctor says. They make a plan in Guido's house, begging for Amy to get into the school so she can unlock a door that will let the Doctor and Rory in, with Guido ready for a get-away. Guido thinks the Doctor IS Amy's fiancee, which angers Rory, but he goes along with the story of him being Amy's brother.

They are succesful, and Amy finds Isabella, who still haven't been fully turned into a vampire-girl. At night, she unlocks the door, but is confronted by a school guard and is taken to a green room, where Roasanna and Francesco and a few girls wait. Signora bites her on the neck, part turning her into a Vampire.
In another part of the school, Rory is confronting the Doctor, worried for Amy, and telling the Time Lord how he is so good at saving people that humans make themselves want to be like him, and put their lives on the line for him, which is all-over true. They are surrounded by Vampires, but the Doctor uses a lamp-stick to vend them off with light.
Doctor - MY light, is bigger than yours! DAMN right, it's better than yours!
Signora - Yes I know, I've got beautiful skin, oh yes, I moisturise
Suprised by the commotion Rosanna and Francesco are caught off balance, so Amy kicks Rosanna in the leg, which de-activates her cloaking device and reveals her as a fish-like spider, but, turning her cloaking device back on, Rosanna and Francesco leave Amy, who is freed by Isabella and the girls meet up with the Doctor and Rory, they manage to escape, but at the last minute, Isabella is pulled back. While Amy, Rory, and Guido head back to Guido's house, Rosanna and Francesco and forcing Isbella to walk a plank, who is fooled, thinking they expect her to drown. Once in the water, she is attacked, and dies (which I think is a bit too cruel for Doctor Who).
The Doctor confronts Rosanna head on, and finds out she is a creature from Saturnyne, a race with fish-like Vampire qualities, who use perception filters and that is why they can't be seen in mirrors. She pleas for help, saying her world was destroyed by CRACKS IN TIME, and that her and Francesco need the water and are going to sink Venice.

Signora - What an incredible nose you have, Doctor
Back at Guido's house, the Doctor tells the others of this and heals Amy's bite with his Sonic (a new thing for the new Sonic Screwdriver) and declares her all better. After a while, they are again attacked by the Vampire-Girls and the Doctor, Amy, and Rory escape, but Guido (greaving the loss of Isabella), blows himself (shouting "YOU WILL NOT SINK US! WE ARE VENICE!") and the Vampires up, using gunpowder in his house. The Doctor tells Rosanna of this, and she activates a device in her throne as he leaves. Clouds form ove Venice, and the process of sinking it begins.

What a funky way to sink Venice!
Meanwhile Amy and Rory are confronted by Francesco, and Rory grabs a broom and they fight broom to sword for a while. Just as Franceso (now in fish form) is about to jump on Rory, Amy uses a make-up compact and reflects sunlight on the fish, and Francesco explodes. Amy calls Rory and "dud", but as he walks up the stairs she kisses him, and then says "Now we help the Doctor".

Doctor - HEAVE! Humph! HEAVE! Humph! HEAVE!
At this point, the people of Venice are panicking, and running around while it storms and rains on them. The Doctor is climbing to the top of the School's bell tower. And once he does, he has a minute of deciding what to do before pressing the right button and deactivating it. Once the city is saved, Rosanna is about to walk off the plank. The Doctor tries to stop her, but she says "Can you carry the burden of another dead race under your head?" before throwing herself into the canal where her offspring wait.

In the aftermath, Amy asks the Doctor if Rory can stay on, and he accepts. Amy goes into the TARDIS saying "Life is good, I have a time-machine, a great outfit, and my boys!" "We are not her boys" Rory says, before adding "Okay, yeah we are". The Doctor stops him before he goes into the TARDIS, saying "Do you hear that?" but there is obviously silence. "Nup, I can't hear anything" Rory says, not noticing anything different. The episode ends by going through the key-hole of the TARDIS, making it look like a crack in the universe.

Great ep, well, um, maybe a bit over-the-top, but what do you expect? It's Doctor Who! I do wish though that they would go on withe the story of the cracks in the universe, and the story of Amy, but yeah.

I give it 3 smiles out of 5.
:) :) :)

So, yeah, next episode is good though, "Amy's Choice" and one word : PREGGARS!!!
See you soon!

Doctor Who Double Review!

Hey guys!
How are you all? School just ended here and I am stuffed!

Well, anyway, I am here for another reveiw of Doctor Who, double episode, "The Time of Angels" and "Flesh and Stone".
Doctor - Come on everyone, let's look into the camera!
Riversong came back this two parter, and what a thrilling ride it was!
It starts with a pair of super high high heels, walking down a corridor, and burning a symbol into some wood. 12,000 years later, the Doctor and Amy find a "Home Box" in a museum, with a message for the Doctor, "Hello Sweetie!" I Love Riversong's catch phrase.
RiverSong - I'm coming over for a visit, Doctor!
Then, proving RiverSong is the coolest chickareita in the world, she flies from the ship she was on and lands in the TARDIS. "Doctor? River? Follow that ship!"

Professor RiverSong, the most kinky girl in the universe!
Riversong successfully lands the TARDIS, and the Doctor imatates the sound the TARDIS makes when it lands (Quite funny). They realise that the ship has crashed and the Doctor "sonics" Riversong so the 20 troops and Father Octavion can teleport down. Riversong then asks the Doctor "what do you know, of the weeping angels?". They then see a 4 second loop of the Weeping Angels inside a ship, and the Doctor and Riversong explain how the Weeping Angels move when you don't see. Riversong and the Doctor walks outside and when Amy looks back at the screen, the Weeping Angel has moved, she tries to turn the screen off, it moves again, she tries the door to the ship, locked, and the Angel has moved, she calls for the Doctor, who is reading a book about the Weeping Angels.
Weeping Angel - RARGH! I can come out of your computer screen, watch out, humans of earth, 2010!
The Angel starts coming out of the screen, and the Doctor tells Amy not to look in the eyes, which she is already doing. Amy then freezes the Angel on a blank spot on the tape, and is set free. As they walk outside Amy exclaims she has something in her eye.

The group continues to explore the caves, and one by one, the soldiers are picked off. Amy still has something in her eye, and when she rubs it, dust comes out. Riversong lies and says, this won't hurt as she injects Amy, but it reallys does.
RiverSong - Let's point our torches at the Doctor and taunt him behind his back! Weee!
"You're so his wife" Amy quietly remarks. They continue to explore and suddenly realise that, since the statues are dead people, the dead people of the Aplans, the Aplans have two heads, so why don't the statues? Because they are all Weeping Angels!!! The group escapes, knowing that the original Angel was coming because it used the voice of a dead soldier, Bob, through the Doctor's comunicator. As the Doctor rushes past, Amy screams, her hand is stone! The Doctor convinces her that her hand is not stone, and the Doctor bites it. "Ew! Space teeth!" Amy exclaims.
The team reaches the space ship, but doesn't have the climbing equipment to reach it. The Doctor does something unbelieveble, and fires a gun, taking out the gravity globe, and the team jump!

Doctor - MY gun, is bigger than yours. DAMN right, it's better than yours.
They end up upside down on the spaceship, wathcing the statues transform into Weeping Angels, they are in trouble now! The Doctor jumps through a port hole, proving to Amy the weird ways of physics. Once all inside (The Doctor, Amy, Riversong, Father Octavion, and 4 troops), they realise they must switch the lights off to get past the door blocking their way. Weeping Angels start to fill the corridor, worrying!
Weeping Angel - Hehe! I bet we're really freaking them out now!
The Doctor tells Amy to set the Sonic Screwdriver to setting 4, but she says 10 for some reason. They mangage to turn the lights off, and get through the door without any damage. They then do this again and find themselves on a secondary flight deck.

Bolting all the doors, the Doctor says they have just 5 minutes until the Angels get through. Amy says 9, but pretends she didn't. The Doctor unlocks a big door, and they find a forest, but not any forest. An oxygen factory! "8" Amy says, but the Doctor doesn't notcie. Tree-Borgs suck in light and energy from stars and breathe out oxygen! "Have I impressed you yet, Amy Pond?" the Doctor asks. "Wow" she replies and adds "Seven!" on the end. The Doctor looks her close in the eyes, but is interupted by Angel Bob, talking through the speaker. The Doctor manages to make the Angel say comfy chairs. "Ha! Six" Amy replies at this. "Okay, Bob, here's the question, what have you done to Amy?" The Doctor asks. Bob explains that he has taken her over, and will kill her when she gets to one (the counting is to make her scared). "Doctor I'm five!" Amy excalims. "I mean, um, five. Wait, fine! I'm fine!" The Angels start laughing, because the Doctor hasn't notcied "it".

The Crooked Smile (nuff' said)
The Doctor then notices a crack in the space station wall, the crack from Amy's bedroom. He gets everybody out, and the inspects it with his Sonic. "Thats very not so good!" he says.
Doctor - No! My jackets too cool to be ripped apart!
He is then surrounded by Weeping Angels, who grab his jacket. He convinces them that the crack is the end of the universe, which it was, and manages to escape by taking off his jacket.

In the forest, meanwhile, Amy is on the ground, clutching her head. She has counted down to 3, and she is dying. The Doctor works out that to stay alive Amy needs to turn off the Angel in her mind, so she closes her eyes and stops dying.

The Doctor, Father Octavion, and River leave Amy with the 4 troops, who see a white light and one by one, go into it, leaving only Amy and one troop. The troop, tries to tell Amy that there were no other troops, seemingly forgetting them once they go to the light. He walks off, but leaves Amy a com-link, and they talk for a while until it cuts off, leaving Amy all alone, with her eyes shut.

Meanwhile, the other three find the first flight deck, and as River goes through, Octavion begins to be strangled by Weeping Angels.
Weeping Angel - My ... precious ... (poor Father Octavion)
The Doctor doesn't want to leave him, but Octavion tells the Doctor of how Riversong killed a man, a very good man, and so she is sentenced to prison. The Father tells the Doctor not to trust her, before, in a fit of tears, the Doctor leaves him to die.

The Doctor gets in touch with Amy and tells her to walk, to walk like she can see. River asks the Doctor how they stop the white light, and he tells her a big space-time event should shut it up for a bit, he is going to sacrifice himself. If you walk into the white light (which is gaining on the now only three) you would of never had been born.

Amy keeps walking, but is soon surrounded by Angels, she tries to walk past them, but, for probably the only time in history, you see the Weeping Angels move to kill Amy. As she is about to die, Amy is teleported to the first flight deck.
Doctor - So? Hmmmm? Can I have my jacket back now?
The Doctor then confronts the Angels, and activates the gravity of the ship once again, and the Weeping Angels are sucked into the white light, closing it up (for now).
They manage to get out of the wreck, and Riversong promises the Doctor to see him when "The Pandorica Opens" saying she remembers it well. I am pretty sure "The Pandorica Opens" is the title of the first episode of the series finale two parter, oh! Well anyway, Amy wants to go home, and reveals to the Doctor she is getting married, but somehow, for a weird reason, tries to seduce him and kiss him, saying when she was blind she needed him.
Amy - Kisse kisse. Oh, wait, you're not Rory.
He pushes her away, but realises that the date of Amy's wedding is the day that the white light is to be set on the universe. He then runs into the TARDIS, and whisks Amy away, determined to sort her out.
Loving both episodes, but a bit weirded out by Amy loving the Doctor, and how we saw the Angels move, but can't wait for Riversong to return in series finale!!!

I give "The Time of Angels" 3.5 smiles out of 5
:) :) :) :

I give "Flesh and Stone" 4.5 smiles out of 5

:) :) :) :) :

Don't miss out on "Vampires of Venice" next week! Oh, and I will give you a clue, they aren't actually Vampires!

P.S.

I have an action figure update!!!

Series 5 Wave 1 actions figures are out in London! (Don't know when for NZ though, sorry)

This wave includes 8 characters, from Series 5 episodes 1 to 5.
